Does anyone know where one can find the absolute risk of death for any given age (country specific)? @GidMK

So there's variance remaining that we cannot explain, but broadly speaking the formula from our metaregression should give you a fairly good estimate of the risk of death for a given age

Sorry Gid - should have been more explicit. This doesn't relate to COVID. I just have a grizzly fascination with knowing my average risk of death at any given age (so for an Australian 55yr old woman)

Lol my bad, I just assume everything is COVID these days. From memory
@d_spiegel discussed this recently for the world but specifically to Aus the best info is from the AIHW life tables I thinkhttps://www.aihw.gov.au/reports/life-expectancy-death/deaths-in-australia/contents/life-expectancy … - Show replies
