In NSW you are required to isolate until you get test results, regardless of symptoms. In this case, if your symptoms subside then you would be free to stop isolating unless you got a positive result back

That's not correct. The guidance states that you must isolate for minimum10 days from the onset of symptoms or 14 days if you live with someone with symptoms.
