Another aspect is that without lockdowns there is no time for provisioning of additional healthcare. The hospitals, drs and nurses when are stressed would cause dilution of resources. Most of the drs in lmic are well to done and busy if they are stretched too much they’ll quit.
The govts think that they are doing great service by opening economy and are happy that they need not dole any stimulus. They are wrong,when the virus runs around, ppl will stop using non essential services and take risks and business suffer beyond recovery.
