He predicted that 510k people would die if no action was taken. Thus far, ~41k have died.
Yup, death prediction held up well. Overestimated hospitalizations. But very limited information at the time

hey Health Nerd, do you have a simple summary that I could share with others on exactly that point? We have exactly the same problem in SA, with some working hard at cherry picking (and outright misleading)
They were broadly correct in terms of what they predicted if a full lockdown were implemented. They were wildly inaccurate in terms fo what they predicted had a full lockdown *not* been implemented. It's pretty easy to say that if no one leaves their home, no one will get sick.
