I highly doubt most of the signatures are fakes. I also highly doubt a counter-petition wouldn't get similarly trolled.

I don't have an opinion on either of those points. I'd just add that its important to note there are holes in this strategy that you could drive many hearses through.

I've no doubt there are holes. But there are EVEN MORE HOLES in lockdown strategy (most notably the fact that it ends up killing more people than Covid)

If you can find me an epidemiologist (not politician) or other expert currently proposing a total lockdown in any place in the world I'd be fascinated to see it

Actually I can. Neil Ferguson. (And by extension Chris Whitty). Luckily so far UK gvt. has ignored them - but tbh what they're doing is hardly any better. Lots of local lockdowns which are basically national lockdown in all but name
