Regardless of how we define it, I'm not sure what meaning if any can be garnered by comparing rates of myopia in one hospital in Hubei to schoolchildren from the 1980s, which is precisely what this study did

I’m not running out to purchase glasses due to what I read. lol But I think it’s an observation (maybe a poor one) which should be looked into more.

I agree that a future study might shed some light on the issue, but I do wonder how this particular piece of research was published with such glaring flaws
