I think @michaelmina_lab has made some excellent points, and the proposed solution - to sacrifice some sensitivity - is not a bad idea. It does require a lot of restructuring and rethinking, but not unreasonable

That being said, his point is that the test that picks up TOO MANY TRUE POSITIVES, which is quite different to a test with too many false positives as many are currently suggesting
