I would imagine that somebody with children at home and running out of sick leave might be tempted to classify symptoms as “very mild” or even “asymptomatic” or “seasonal allergies in September.” Everything about people is hard.
“Asymptomatic” certainly covers several groups: no symptoms ever, no symptoms sufficient to drive a diagnosis, or pre-symptomatic. The important question is whether we are missing a lot of asymptomatic cases that were never tested or where AB tests are negative post infection.
