I cannot tell you how many times I have heard people say “Oh but Sweden was a success”.

10.26 million people, 5865 dead vs 5 million people, 25 dead. Success by what standards? It's baffling right?

In completely unrelated news, Sweden has not had more than 3 daily deaths this month. It's shameful to see those on the left wishing for Sweden to fail, as ultimately this means people dying.

Nobody is “wishing for Sweden to fail”...that’s an absurd thing to say. In short, what the tweet is saying is that people think Sweden has conquered and eliminated the virus. That’s just not true.

Double irony that Stockholm Syndrome is a ‘condition’ invented in order to gaslight women who were held hostage by bank robbers and explain away police mismanagement of the hostage situation.

I thought Sweden was a socialist country. Or way more socialist than the U.K. is anyway

That's because the Swedish model was pure laziness on Tegnell's part. Depending on the people to do what he should have been doing. Just like those in America who espouse the Swedish model are lazy & don't want to dig in & do the hard work. To sacrifice for the greater good.
