I'd say that Noah's original point, that all the evidence for Vit D is entirely explicable through the research being flawed in design, still holds perfectly true despite the increase in the number of studies
I never said it was? And I never said you do? I do think people underplay the potential costs of the multibillion dollar supplement industry, but that being said my point is that there's no good evidence vit D has a benefit for COVID-19 - do you agree?

I'm not sure honestly, I think at this point the causal story is more plausible than the acausal one, prior to the spanish trial I would've said that there's probably a 1/5 chance that vitamin D was a cause, now probably more like 6/10.

But even if it's just a 1/100 chance that it helps, supplementation is a no brainer especially in correctional and long term care facilities where vitamin D deficiency is extremely common.
