What would you do instead? What framework would you use that gets people to eat in a manner consistent with health and doesn't feel like punishment? No one has an answer.

I am the exception to this rule that is usually true. Heard David Jenkins interviewed about Portfolio diet on RNs health report. Have been on the diet for 9 years works like a first generation Statin on Chol lowering. Weirdly after 3 months almost no asthma and hayfever as well.

We could all just live on breastmilk substitute powder and water... The only personalisation required would be regulating the amount of powder.

You can write the best personalised nutrition plan that covers 100% of the clients needs but if they don't follow it, it's useless. The clients mindset needs 100% buy-in, so its less to do with nutrition and more to do with mindset.

I think this only makes sense for elite athletes (for whom they may need to carefully regulate nutrients to be at some optimal thingamajig) or those with medical needs (eg PKU, celiac, IBS). Otherwise - what’s the point?
