Mm I suppose, and similar to the US with people avoiding real medicine because of the financial cost (despite woo-merchants often being even worse long-term if not for one appt/tx), Chinese ppl who can't afford to go to hospital/drs go to TCM practitioners... too late to treat :(

I think you're conflating DO with ND in the US. ND is psuedoscience mixed with some (poorly taught) science whereas DO is the exact same as MD w/classes & rigor but with OMM added to the curriculum

Not at all. DO adds a touch of pseudoscience to a medical degree, which is not dissimilar to some TCM degrees
