Gotta say, implying that you're ok with countless deaths to make a vague point about fetal cultures taken decades ago doesn't really make sense to me, but I guess that's why I'm not Catholic

Also worth noting for the original article that this vaccine isn't being developed with tissue from aborted foetuses so the headline is not really correct. The cell line was initially cultured from this tissue in the 70s, but that was nearly 50 years ago

It has been pointed out that I'm conflating Churches, so I should apologise and specify that it is the Anglican archbishop who is explicitly against the vaccine while the Catholic bishop is only implicitly against it and implying that it is unethical Sorry

I'd say you are the last person in this equation who needs to apologise for anything. Ignorance, misinformation and naive expressions of 'faith' are clearly as useless as "tits on a bull" when it comes to dealing with a health crisis. You're offering a valuable public service!!

Thanks, but I am firmly of the opinion that one should own up to mistakes. My tweets were, to an extent, misleading, so it was worth the clarification

Fair enough. The distinction between the responses from the two institutions are certainly different, but only when you are in "hair splitting" mode.
