I mean, the IHME model has, for weeks now, argued that masks could save 10,000s of lives in the U.S. I wonder if they'll reconfigure that to a more realistic estimate
The science has always been clear that masks alone they are not enough to stop the spread. But to assess their effectiveness in real life you can’t assume everyone is wearing them just because they are “mandatory”, or that they are wearing them correctly.
