Why not? Public good, ensure compliance. Medical exemptions sure, but otherwise give it to everyone if safe. It's broadly what we do already in Aus

Oh. I think Sweden had mandated (smallpox) vaccination at some time in the 1800:s but never since, and it would be against the requirement of informed consent for any medical procedure in the patient law, so almost unprecedented. How is it enforced?

And would it really increase adherence in a meaningful way? For that matter, is herd immunity important for protection from this virus? Swedish authorities thought so for the swine flu pandemic, but then we went back to mainly protecting flu risk groups.
