I had flu several times in my youth. Never had it where it didnt take me that sort of time to recover. Was off school for 10 days and 2 x 2weeks respectively, so not hugely surprising given "it aint the flu" My dad also had it and it escalated into pneumonia (in his 40s)

Yep this is why it's worrying rather than huge news. Might just be what's expected after a major illness, have to see what happens in 6, 10, 20 weeks
