Ok, this has been bugging me since yesterday, so I thought I'd actually go through this new webpage that claims Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is effective for COVID-19 and review it Here goes nothing 1/nhttps://twitter.com/CT_Bergstrom/status/1291837801512595457 …

Studied the wrong application. The debunking studies have all been debunked as well.

Thus far there's been no benefit for PrEP, PEP, early treatment, or late treatment in large RCTs

That studied the wrong application. There is no credible evidence for or against HCQ.

That is incorrect. There are a number of large randomised controlled trials that have found no benefit for the drug for COVID-19. I wrote a piece on thishttps://link.medium.com/J3l7MTvRP8

I'm exhausted by the bait-and-switch on this. If you have a RPT study with HCQ + Zinc + Azyth administered on first symptoms, I will look at it. If you are the millionth person to claim you have such a thing but do not, I don't want to click your link.

The article goes into more detail, but that's mostly just some moved goalposts. There have been a variety of studies including a variety of methodologies (yes, with azithro) and thus far none of the larger trials have found the slightest evidence of benefit
