The paper you cite says the opposite of what you claim it does. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/0269881116675513 … "At 6-month follow-up, these changes were sustained, with about 80% of participants continuing to show clinically significant decreases in depressed mood and anxiety."

I think your article is a test: do people bother to read primary sources, or merely retweet something that they agree with?

The between group differences were not significant at any point - regardless of what the authors said, the results were null based on the numbers Perhaps an acid test of whether people read studies or just skim the abstract 😉

While we're here...it's interesting that the "high dose" is 22 or 30mg/70kg. Anecdotally, in South Africa, the underground "journeying" community uses a standard dose of 5 grams (no matter body weight). Not endorsing that, and I'm pretty sure ethics clearance would be tough...

As I've written in the twt below & also in the comments on the blog and in an email to you - this doesn't seem to be right. The study found highly significant BG differences in its 2 primary outcomes, and 9 others, at 5 weeks. Pls could you address. Thx.https://mobile.twitter.com/francis_haddock/status/1339876636662124549 …
