Nearly 4 months ill with close to zero productivity. Finally better the last week or so. Last night experienced kaleidoscope vision for the first time in my life - never had a migraine. Mild CV19 stroke? Just coincidence? Who knows, doesn't help my mood ....

I have been sick since March with a non-COVID respiratory infection that comes back every 1-2 weeks for a bout of flu like symptoms, like a bad movie with endless mandatory reruns. This is bad enough, I can imagine how miserable months of COVID19 must be :( Glad you are better!

To be honest I am much more surprised by the absence of matched control - I would not be surprised if those prevalence are similar in general population of high-exposure high-risk population. There is an implicit selection due to low prevalence and limited tests.

And as such, people in their 35+ working in « essential » - aka underpaid unstable - jobs are not exactly the most mentally accomplished population and might feel the dread of a recession much more. After all, scales also have an implicit bias of calibration - those consulting.
