Sure, but that's true for ~every disease~. The point is that death classification is complex, and there are edge cases everywhere, if you're going to argue the point about COVID-19 you could do the same for literally every cause of death

No - it's included! Because no one has politicized influenza deaths, so the occasional misrecorded death isn't much of an issue

To be fair, it would be incredibly rare for that to happen (young healthy people almost never get influenza tests), but the point is that death classification isn't a simple process
