A skeptic doesn’t mean you’re sure they don’t work. You’re a skeptic, you don’t see enough evidence yet. But the “experts” have told the world to wear masks. And you’re defending their consistency.

The WHO position is actually also more nuanced than that. As is the CDCs. Most experts are cautious in their statements

Also "masks only work if you use them well" implies that the issue is training, not the masks not working as an intervention.
