The problem here is that the papers referenced in the article are not nearly strong enough to establish that baldness is, in fact, a risk factor. This is discussed in the article But the headline from the ABC implies that it is!

Interesting!! True, syndicated articles often end up with butchered headlines for clicks. Here, original article cites ‘baldness’ and ‘risk factor’ in the same sentence, with no incentive to read beyond headline. Does this do more damage, I wonder? Open for (nerdy) debate!
