But all regions have positive rate comparable to their test kit false positive rate, most likely they got zero seropositive out of 1971 residents in Tokyo, 2970 residents in Osaka and 3009 residents in Miyagi

That would put some upper limit on seroprevalence 0.19% in Tokyo, 0.12% in Osaka and Miyagi at 95% CI. Lower limit on IFR can be calculated, 1.8% in Tokyo, 2.6% in Osaka and 0.04% in Miyagi.

Manitoba testing numbers have gone way down but that's just because so few people are sick. We really need to start implementing a surveillance testing system. Once borders open up we will likely be putting a lot of our capacity toward that. A reliable rapid test would be nice.
