It's also an issue with a number of the other data sources - for example, the CIA database on obesity is at best 4 years out of date and for some countries I suspect may be substantially worse than that
The statistical analysis also confuses me. I'm not sure that the regressions were entirely appropriate. Also, the variable "time wearing masks" doesn't really make sense?
I'm very confused by Table 1 - what you'd expect is a breakdown of country-by-country (or perhaps region) with percentages and variables. Instead, we get the results of some very odd logistic regressions - making it impossible to assess any of these variablespic.twitter.com/0KCYwPefNT
People could have gotten fatter in last 4 years. True. But relative rankings of different countries unlikely to change quickly. The fact that Obesity data not available for previous year will be a limit for any study.
