I don't know who needs to hear this today, but the placebo effect probably isn't real and mostly describes common statistical failings of scientific research

Hmm but most of the science on the placebo effect is really referring to the individual experiences of a specific individual. Supported enough that some trials have placebo run ins to exclude such patients

Depends who you ask. Lots of people still believe that there is a placebo effect that can improve health in an objective, measurable sense
