Thanks for this thread. I’ve heard a lot of “in old people it is more deadly than flu but in people under 30 yo IFR is the same” but can’t find any data supporting or countering. Is this 100x estimate true across age/risk groups?

Yes, but it's more complex. Influenza has a higher death rate in children and those over 65, so the disease dynamics are very different

Flu rarely goes on to infect a large proportion of the population in a few months either.
