      Even the article you cite there opens with acknowledgement that evidence base conflicting. The reason most public health / epis aren't pushing it is that it's not especially clear cut AND likely benefit marginal. I for one hope NPHET makes their decisions on totality of evidence

      I will say that I'm more convinced these days of face masks as form of collective signalling. Whether they prevent infections or not, they definitely tell everyone that you care about the situation
