Remdesivir in particular seems to be beneficial and appears to be the best treatment we have, based on this study

Thank you, I was waiting for your take on HCQ study, what is your opinion on increased mortality? can selection bias be overcome with prop matching?

I think in addition to the smaller randomized controlled trials this adds a fairly damning nail in the coffin of HCQ as a potential treatment and suggests some very serious harms

Table 2 is a nightmare of confusing information. However, this is some weak sauce. I read it as, useless if progressed to severe, may, possibly, prevent progression of moderate to mild.

Remdesivir? I think based on this study that it probably has some benefit, although as you say the improvement seems to be smaller the more severe the disease is
