The Denmark IFR was directly calculated as a death rate in the population of blood donors. That's the 0.08% figure cited in this paper
So they followed up on the blood donors to find out who died from COVID-19? That's not how I remember the paper, but it's possible I overlooked that. Of course, this makes the IFR close to useless then.
I don't think this is actually the case though, is it? I'm looking at the paper right now, and they used general population deaths (under 70 years old) to estimate IFR. This is quite clear IMO.pic.twitter.com/Kb4JZDaN8J
