@bmj_latest study showed 19% reduction in Respiratory infection with weekly or daily doses, 70% in those with baseline D <25nmol/l, it was only bolus doses that only showed a 3% reduction smaller but more frequent doses are more effective -
Those are relative reductions - they also calculated the NNT from which you can derive the absolute risk reduction of 3%

A vitamin D - COVID article by one of my favorite epidemiologists! Several studies seem to have ecological fallacies. Who would think being sick in hospital would reduce your sun exposure? I'll keep taking low level vit-D while I spend most of my daylight inside on a computer.
