One thing I've been worried about for a while now - long-term health impacts of #COVID19 Any published research looking at this? #epitwitter

(Obviously we won't have anything that is longer than a few months, but even that would be interesting to see)

China is monitoring thousands of covid victims on an ongoing basis for at least a year. This will help. There are so many indications of varying degres of damage, varying recoveries, etc the obvious decision would be to assume considerable health issues may present going forward.

I’m very interested in 1) preventing a sustained drop immunization rates for childhood diseases and 2) maintained access to care as rural providers are facing financial strains. Not seen anything published though (unless twitter thoughts count!)

I’ve seen a lot of patients who will be needing bilat lung transplants if they want a vaguely normal life after all this.

Not equivalent but interesting to read manuscripts on long term sequelae of original SARS, as well as psychological and occupational effects in health care workers.
