If I were a suspicious person, I'd say that the results from three remdesivir trials - one negative, one possibly positive, and one useless - being announced on the same day smacked of an effort to push the drug despite likely inefficacy

Good news there: the NIAID one is the best designed and conducted of the three, and was the one with the most positive results, albeit well to early to celebrate. The "negative" one was too underpowered to say much. The useless one was useless, and served only to confuse
