Good news there: the NIAID one is the best designed and conducted of the three, and was the one with the most positive results, albeit well to early to celebrate. The "negative" one was too underpowered to say much. The useless one was useless, and served only to confuse

As I read it, even the positive one was pretty mixed. I agree, this is being pushed too soon. They should definitely have expanded trials before going public, and nobody should ever talk about the 8% vs 11% mortality.

I’ve had covid for 40 days now (still high fever and need oxygen 24/7) & ended up with shingles after IV steroids for pneumonia. Anecdotal share that IV acyclovir has helped the covid DRAMATICALLY for 2 hrs after each infusion, then nothing. I believe they are in same class?
