How widespread do you think some of the conspiracy theories and false claims about cause and treatment of Covid-19 are? Is it just fringe misinformation that should be largely ignored [not saying it's not still dangerous] or are some of these theories taking hold? Any thoughts?

That particular piece of misinformation was very sophisticated in its presentation: looked like a press release that had been shared by hospitals. Even I fell for it for a bit. My sister in the UK who's a nurse actually repeated some of the stuff in it!
