Another question for #epitwitter: I still struggle to get a handle on what the biggest issues are for nationwide testing right now. I know shortage is one. Who are some folks who can best speak to the *specific* challenges preventing wider scale, systematic testing?

We *should* have a nationwide testing program that covers anyone who wants a test and does statistically significant populations so we're not flying blind (both viral & serology). Absent a coherent program, the list is the set of things I've seen why it's not happening grassroots

Perhaps we should, but there are significant barriers to doing so. Most national programs in the US take years to set up. I don't think it's a straw man to point out that it's going to be an extremely hard thing to do
