Can you please explain for a lay person. I get that over a one year period none of these diets end up being better than the other but does that mean diet doesn't matter at all for cardiovascular health?

Eating less=losing weight is ancient news. And any physician treating anorectics can tell that human being willing to shed some kg need to eat well.

I think it would me more important to find out if any of these dietary regimes has lower/higher risk of relapse (gaining everything lost and more is a problem) and eating disorders (all of them).
