Also, obviously a lockdown is completely ineffective if it doesn't apply to basically everyone, otherwise you just get young people spreading the disease

This does not get discussed as much as it should. Amongst all the pieces that are actually causing unfounded hysteria- this, which is a reasonable concern (long term damage of survivors) is rarely discussed
