Thanks Gideon. That's why I've tried to skip "confirmed/diagnosed cases" and instead focus on the relationship between actual infections - detected or not, and deaths. Actual infections critical for public comms re: lockdown complacency. "Confirmed cases" are iceberg tip?
Lol no. I've gone over this many times already, this is getting tedious. Not all of the people who died until today were infected 14 days ago, I'm sure you can understand how that might be

Of course. + Some were infected before 14 days ago. Balances out? Isn't that why using a median / mean is useful for a top down sanity check?
