        (Now, as ever, it's hard to know if these issues are directly CAUSED by ventilation or just ASSOCIATED with it, but the reality is that a month on a ventilator isn't a fun thing to do either way)

        There have also been reports of anosmia (losing the sense of smell) due to coronavirus even in people with few other symptoms That's a pretty scary thing to happen

        Even a 'mild' illness might just mean you're not hospitalized, depending on who's reporting. How many 'mild' US cases will be people who suffered at home because they couldn't afford medical attention?
