Genuine question: Can someone smarter than me please explain how we know that asymptomatic people who test positive are actually infectious? I'm not talking theoretical viral shedding, but in vivo. #covid19

I believe it's to do with the viral load and estimations from other coronaviruses. There are also a number of reported cases where the virus was spread by an asymptomatic person (although ofc this is not firm evidence)
