The
@WHO are their own worst enemies on this one. I had to read their infographic three times to understand that they DON’T recommend AGAINST ibuprofen. Double negatives don’t create coherent messages. -
Thanks for your clarity. I thought it was just me. Reading “advises against” is confusing word order. Seeing the negation “against” after the verb “advises” doesn’t make sense at the first. Must be an easier yet professional way to say “No recommendation, one way or the other.”

I don't know what it was like elsewhere, but around here there has been a shortage of ibuprofen all year. As someone who suffers from gout I keep an eye on this.

Based on evidence, Ibuprofen is not the best medication for flu like symptoms. Paracetamol is usually more effective. However, there is no evidence, at this time, to suggest ibuprofen causes any additional adverse side effects in otherwise healthy people who can normally use it.

Of course, it's not the WHO who said that but doctors in France. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/14/anti-inflammatory-drugs-may-aggravate-coronavirus-infection …

The same WHO who said not to restrict flights from china to avoid stigma
