I think people honestly don't realize the consequences for things like this. I'd imagine they're going to be forcibly quarantined now, and that is not fun

I don't even mean the massive public health ramifications, I mean they might personally be imprisoned in a small room until they are well, which most people just don't realize is a possibility imo

The legislation differs from state to state, but AFAIK they don't need to do that to forcibly quarantine sick people. There's definitely federal legislation that gives the Commonwealth these powers
