This is ridiculous. If I can impare my immune system with a terrible diet, no sun, and lack of sleep then I can certainly boost it by doing the opposite.

If I can break my foot with a hammer, then NOT hammering it will make it twice as strong!

I can make it stronger by exercising it and I can improve my immune system by doing things that take care of and improve it. How is this complicated?

No, you can impair it by NOT exercising. That's the point

Most people don't exercise. There are absolutely ways that 99% of people can improve their immune response. Be it through eating better, exercise, meditation (less stress) etc. To say that washing your hands is the answer... absolute joke. Both important.

Sounds reasonable to me. Im curious what he has to say in response in case theres something we're missing? An unhealthy person could 'boost'/improve it by doing the expected diet/exercise? The original tweet could be easily misunderstood in this regard if this is the case.

Being "technically" correct, but misleading those without your knowledge, is dangerous for someone in your position. The stats show that the population as a whole could improve their immune response and now is the time to promote healthy lifestyles.

Pedantic semantics. If you can weaken an immune system (you can) then you can support or even strengthen it by improving your lifestyle.

Nope, plus I wouldn't want too boost the immune system too much otherwise it might turn against your own cells.

Lack of it causes problems, though sufficient levels give normal functioning.
