Problem is, this is pure supposition at this point. Absolutely no idea if there's any causal link between a small group of people squatting and better physical health

It's just nonsense 1. The study didn't do anything other than observe behaviour 2. No idea if this will translate to other populations 3. No idea if it's even the squatting that helped!

You could just as easily assume that the hunter-gatherer's Tanzanian heritage is what kept them so slim, it's really impossible to know

At best, we could perhaps argue that a hunter-gatherer style existence will keep you a bit fitter than an office job WHICH IS SOMETHING WE ALREADY KNOW
