Compare South Korea to Italy. They initially look very similar, but shortly after SK's increase in cases drops sharply and stays low Italy is still at a 25% daily increasepic.twitter.com/CYFFojcxL0

And the same comparison just for France and Iran. France appears to have a much flatter epidemic curve, although the outbreak is much shorter so that might be a bit prematurepic.twitter.com/pLSvRXIDJk
interesting. they all kind of spike at first, and then taper off.
An increase from 1 to 2 is 100%
South Korea has been aggressively testing, so their total reported cases is probably more accurate than some countries. Could you post this graph for Canada? Last I checked we had 62 cases, 1 fatality, but this curve would be interesting to see.
It's unlikely to be informative for countries with small numbers of cases imo. Going from 10 to 15 cases might just be testing catching up but looks like a big increase
What about north/south (winter/summer) comparison? Does a virus have tolerance to environmental temperature?
The peaks in Iran and Italy and the suden drop in incidence are interesting. can we say we are gaining dominance over COVID?
Not really. There's less of testing bias. When you first start testing you pick up lots of cases. These aren't necessarily new but a backlog. So where in the epidemic you are when you start testing matters
