Firstly, it's a truly awful question. Either the IPA is intentionally designing bad surveys in bad faith, or they should have a look at survey design

It's a negatively-worded question that's quite confusing (if you like the ABC, you have to engage in a double negative)

And even then, only 30% actively agreed with the statement. So 70% of Aussies don't think that the ABC doesn't represent ordinary Australians (presumably they think it probably does)
