I feel like I should clarify - the fact that BMI has predictive utility doesn't make weightloss morally important nor does it mean that it's always the best way to go. I think what's important to a person can encompass more than just a single metric of health

You keep saying that like I’m making this argument based on my morals or offence. I’m not. As someone who has post grad qualms in both nutrition & epidemiology that that is a difference in its use between fields. I’m just asking you acknowledge that instead of “countering”.
