      In addition to inumeracy of recipients of data (problem among pts and docs), there are other issues like overdiagnosis (diagnosed while true that wouldn't change meaningful outcomes and can worsen quality of life).

      Also, even the best tests are wrong sometimes. Depending on the population, they can be wrong anywhere between very rarely to almost always

          Absolutely! Few medical tests have the specificity required for use in very low risk populations.

          I'm with ya, but if the test costs peanuts, I wouldn't turn down partial information. Particularly if I felt exteme negative pay offs were plausible.
