My point is not that anything is proved at all, but that it is highly negligent to promote increased soy isoflavone intake, especially by children, without fully assessing the risk, given what the existing evidence suggests. If "more research is needed", then do it first.

Is there any other food than soy that has an age-dependent effect like this? All the Pros have been tested in human RCTs and are real enough, the Cons haven't been tested in human RCTs for obvious reasons but the mechanisms are the same.pic.twitter.com/AiP2sxGf78
