But...they divided the people up really weirdly. No rationale given for comparing people who drank tea >=3 times per week to those who drank less

Added to this, there was no direct control for income, which is an issue in and of itself Rich people ruin everything!

In terms of the absolute risk difference, it was pretty small (~0.02% for heart disease per year) They did transform this in a pretty cool way, estimating that this would cause people to have about a year extra disease-free life if they started downing buckets of tea
